Korr and Kargi wards residents can now confidently say that the prevailed challenges to the health service delivery will be a thing of the past, following the constructions of health facilities and equiping them with necessitites by the County Government of Marsabit. The residents of the two areas did not hesitate to express their gratitude to the county government when the County CEC for Health Mr. Stephen Labarakwe handedover yesterday hospital equipments which are aimed at easing health service delivery in the area. Hospital equipments delivered are as follow; over 20 Hospital beds$ matresses, examination coaches, laboratory equipments,drip stands,Sucker,MVA machines,stitching trays,delivery packs,weighing scales,different kinds of drugs among others. Labarakwe asked area residents to come up with health committees who will help in the running of the facilities so as to benefit them all collectively. The health boss urged them to own the health facilities in place so as to cushion them from health problems. A clinical officer at Korr health facility David Okwara said that services offered are helpful to the area health care providers and service seekers (patients) as it will effect service delivery. An elder from Korr who said, “a wiseman usually thinks of tommorow unlike the opposite who is of now” asserted that area residents have been patient and the reward are the goodiness which has been made evident by the Marsabit County government under able leadership of the Governor H.E Ambassador Ukur Yatani. Mr. Labarakwe promised immediate employment of two security and two cleaners for the two facilities each.
