Mr. Galm Guyo Rogicha is an accomplished professional with over 26 years of experience in banking, business development, strategic leadership, and public administration. He currently serves as the Chief Officer, Lands, Energy, Housing, and Urban Development, County Government of Marsabit, where he oversees the planning, coordination, and implementation of policies and programs across the department’s key sectors. In this role, he leads initiatives in land administration, energy access, housing development, and urban management to promote sustainable growth and improved service delivery.
Before joining the County Government, Mr. Rogicha worked at the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) and KCB Bank Ltd, holding key leadership positions in financial management, strategy, and compliance.
Mr. Rogicha holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Kenya Methodist University and a Bachelor’s degree in Cooperative Management from Kenyatta University. He is a member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) and has undertaken executive programs in leadership, governance, and change management.
