Tache Elema Duba is a dedicated public servant currently serving as the Chief Officer for Administration, Coordination, and ICT in the Marsabit County Government. He has been an integral part of the county’s leadership since 2021, holding several key positions including Chief Officer for Economic Planning, Governor’s Delivery Unit, Trade, Health, Partnership coordination, Disaster Risks Reduction and Cohesion. His versatile expertise has significantly contributed to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within Marsabit County.

Prior to his tenure in the county government, Tache Elema Duba demonstrated exceptional leadership in the nonprofit sector. He worked for Strategies for Northern Kenya and SND Africa, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the organization from a small local NGO into a prominent regional entity. His leadership culminated in his role as Deputy CEO, a position he held for seven years, overseeing regional programs and organizational growth.

Tache has also served in several other non governmental organization in senior positions including Pacida Kenya and World Vision Kenya.

Tache’s academic background is rooted in science and healthcare. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Microbiology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Public Health, specializing in Nutrition and Applied Epidemiology, reflecting his commitment to advancing public health and community well-being.

With a rich blend of public service, organizational leadership, and academic excellence, Tache Elema Duba continues to contribute to the development of Northern Kenya and beyond, striving to improve health, economic stability, and governance in the region.
